Actress and co-host on ABC’s ‘The View’ Sherri Shepherd is adding the word primetime to her resume thanks to Lifetime ! Shepherd, also known for roles in ‘Beauty Shop’ and ‘The Jamie Foxx Show,’ has just signed on to appear in the Lifetime network helmed pilot “Sherri”. Loosely based on Shepherd’s experiences, “Sherri” centers around a woman who deals with her husband’s infidelity by allowing his girlfriend and their child to move in with them. Also starring Kali Rocha, Tammy Townsend, and Elizabeth Regen, “Sherri” has been inked for a 12 episode run. In related news, Shepherd is expected to announce the show on ‘The View’ this week and her intent to remain on the daytime chatfest with Whoppi Goldberg.
