Def Jam recording star Jeremih stormed the Billboard Hot 100 yet again this week ! In his second consecutive week as the chart’s greatest airplay gainer, Jeremih’s single “Birthday Sex” gained a reported 12 million audience impressions while also moving from no.23 to no.13 (10 spots). “Birthday Sex,” the R&B singer’s lead single from his forthcoming debut, looks to be heading into the top 10 on next week’s Hot 100 chart where he’ll likely join Soulja Boy, Beyonce, and The Black Eyed Peas (among others). Speaking with Billboard, Jeremih called his charting single an unexpected hit: “I didn’t even think it would be the first single, we were actually pushing another song called “My Ride”. Jeremih’s debut is due later this year.
