Congratulations are in order for soulful singer and actress Jill Scott. The former “Golden” and “No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” star has named her anticipated baby boy Jett Hamilton Roberts. Scott delivered Jett Monday, April 20th at 4:20pm according to PEOPLE. Jett weighed in at 7lbs, 8 oz. at birth with both Scott and fiance Lil’ John Roberts elated with his arrival. Scott filmed the current HBO series “The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” while carrying Jett. Speaking with reporters during filming Scott offered: “The first trimester I spent in Botswana. That was one of the biggest challenges of my life”. “First trimester! You’re sick every morning. It was seven hours time difference, the heat, the bugs, the 14 hour days.” “My doctors gave me a clean bill of health and said you can do this, so I did it.” Congratulations to the new family !!
