By now it has been established that Making the Band 4 stars Day 26 have upgraded to the club on their soon to be released album “Forever In A Day” however, the R&B quintet tells Singersroom they have not left out love and songs like “Since You’ve Been Gone”. “We do have the traditional Day 26 ballads on this record,” says Brian of Day 26. “Actually Ne-Yo penned a song, “Then There’s You”.” The group, also signed to Bad Boy, established a strong R&B ballad presence on their chart-topping debut last year with an arsenal of songs including “Are We In This Together,” “Come In (My Door’s Open),” and “Co Star” but so far has been pumping the club with songs like “Stadium Music” and “I’mma Put It On Her”. Rest assured though, the group says they still recognize the ballads and fans that enjoy them. “We didn’t stray too far away from the first album. We have “Truth Is A Lie,” “Babymaker” and “So Good,” Brian shared during a quick break from their promotional tour this week. “We just took it to another level. The first time around we missed a huge crowd… that’s the club crowd”. “Forever In A Day” hits stores and digital retailers Tuesday, April 14. Stay clicked to Singersroom for more on Day 26 !
