Former 3LW singer Adrienne Bailon is taking the solo route post Cheetah Girl fame ! Bailon, known for belting out family friendly tunes during her multi-million dollar grossing stint in the Disney helmed “Cheetah Girls” project including films, concert tours and merchandising deals, is reportedly taking it to the club on her solo debut. Already rumored to be linked with Bryan Michael Cox and The Dream, Bailon appears to be ready to shed the tween friendly image held since her debut with 3LW’s “No More (Baby I’ma Do It Right)” in 2000. With that said, Bailon has been signed to Def Jam where she’ll not only join Rihanna but Ne-Yo and The Dream. News of Bailon’s signing and solo career follows a highly controversial partially-nude photo scandal last fall. As previously reported on Singersroom, Bailon was approached for a Playboy spread last fall after being outed by Jonathan Jaxson as seeking “attention” with a photo leak during the final “Cheetah Girls” tour. Bailon’s solo effort, rumored to hit stores later this year, follows the singer’s last studio album with 3LW titled “A Girl Can Mack”. 3LW, at its peak, spawned four well-charted singles including “No More,” “I Do (Wanna Get Close To You),” “Neva Get Enuf” and “Playas Gon’ Play”.
