The self-proclaimed “Bad Boy of R&B” Pleasure P has officially reached the coveted Billboard Hot 100 chart as a solo artist. Pleasure P, often recognized for his stint in the Gold-selling group Pretty Ricky, entered the Billboard Hot 100 this week thanks to increased interest in the single “Boyfriend #2”. Currently riding high at BET’s 106 & Park, “Boyfriend #2” debuted at no. 91 on the Billboard Hot 100 Wednesday accompanied by Lil Wayne’s “Hot Revolver (no.33)”. “Boyfriend #2” is the second single from Pleasure P’s forthcoming disc “Introducing … Marcus Cooper” due in stores this June. “Introducing Marcus Cooper” features production from Rico love, Dre and Vidal, Cool and Dre, Tank and Jim Jonsin. “I’m talking about things that average R&B guys don’t talk about but that average people can relate to. Pretty Ricky was overly raunchy, young and with no direction. Now, my music is classier and I’ll tell you exactly how it is,” says Pleasure P.
