American Idol alum Jordin Sparks is busy working on a new album ! Slated for release later this year, Sparks’ sophomore project follows a well received debut disc featuring the singles “Tattoo” and “No Air”. Expected to include “more uptempo” and “dance songs,” according to a recent interview with celebrity blogger B.Scott, Sparks’ sophomore album is likely to take the singer to the next level especially since she’s writing “more.” “Now that I’m writing more it feels a lot better.” Speaking briefly on embattled star and former duet partner Chris Brown (“No Air”), Sparks told B.Scott (Lovebscott.com) “I don’t know him on a personal level like that. It’s just a really sad situation.” “It’s just not okay. It doesn’t matter if you started it or he started it.” Sparks and Chris Brown received several award nominations for their well received collaboration “No Air” in 2008.
