R&B/Hip Hop soul singer Case says he’s clear on ‘real’ R&B and its direction, especially since he’s stepped into the producer’s chair. “Once it goes Pop and it goes Euro it ain’t R&B anymore,” Case shared with Singersroom exclusively. “I think that maybe there’s not enough people making real R&B. That’s what I’ve always done. That’s who and what I am, so I make sure that’s what I make.” Case, who is returning from a several year break with “The Rose Experience” this month, is also taking control of his music this time out. After having success at Def Jam with classic records like “Missing You” and “Touch Me, Tease Me” in the past, Case will release “The Rose Experience” on his own independent label Indigo Blue. Stepping into the role of a producer for the first time on “The Rose Experience” Case says “I had ideas in my head for the longest, so once I started working on this record I just decided to go for it.” “The Rose Experience” is due for release March 24.
