R&B singer/actress Ciara says she’s “cool” with Keri Hilson. Hilson, who recently released a controversial remix to the hit single “Turnin’ Me On,” titled “Turnin’ Me Off,” raised eyebrows when she dropped the verses “You can dance, she can sing, but need to move it to the left” and “Go head tell these folks how long I been writng your songs.. I been putting you on… check teh credits hoe !” Ciara, who has worked with both Hilson and “Turnin Me On” producer Polow Da Don, was immediately thrown into the list of artists many fans believed was the target of the remix, in addition to fellow chart-topping singer Beyonce. Speaking with Atlanta’s V103 late this week, Ciara cleared up the rumors with Polow Da Don. Responding to Polow Da Don’s statement that the “song was not provoked by Ciara, Beyonce or Keyshia Cole,” Ciara said: “All I know is that everything has been cool. I met her when she was a writer. Last conversation we had we were talking about writing together.” When asked about her reaction, after listening to the track on V103, Ciara went on to say “As a woman my first reaction… especially in our industry because it’s really hard to get in a good, strong, solid place. It’s no need to tear another female down.” “I’m not going to respond and say nothing crazy if I don’t have clarity. There has never been any hatred from my end”. In related news, Ciara is looking forward to releasing a remix of the Young Jeezy assisted “Never Ever” soon. According to Ciara, Polow Da Don promised a remix and will deliver soon. Ciara’s anticipated album, “Fantasy Ride,” is slated to hit stores and digital retailers this Spring.
