While Rihanna and Chris Brown appear to be working on their relationship, sources say family members are worried. “I’m concerned,” a relative told reporters this week. “I don’t want her to make a mistake and I don’t want her to ever go through this again”. Recent relative concern follows a statement issued by the “Take a Bow” singer’s father who said he supports his daughter’s decisions. Unlike the father’s stance, other family members want Rihanna to focus on herself and take a break: “Everyone wants them to take a break, to cool off.” In related news, R&B singer/actor Jamie Foxx said there is no excuse for hitting a woman when asked about Chris Brown and Rihanna’s situation: “I don’t care if he’s 8-years-old on the preschool/play school ground (or) 100 years old, it doesn’t matter.” Chris Brown and Rihanna have returned to Los Angeles where Brown is expected to appear in court on charges of ‘making criminal threats’. Brown has been free on $50k bail since Sunday, Feb. 8.
