R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan says she’s not sweating the Grammys. Sullivan, who was completely left out at this years Grammy Awards after loosing all five nominations including Best New Artist, says she’s moving forward with life: “Everybody who was nominated pretty much was deserving. I have a long career ahead of me, so this is not my last Grammys, hopefully,” Sullivan shared with Billboard. With that particular hurdle out of the way, the “Lions, Tigers and Bears” singer is intent on hitting the big screen with fellow Grammy nominee Ne-Yo. Sullivan will join Ne-Yo, who is also prepping for the ‘big screen’ as reported last month on Singersroom, in ‘Red Tails’. Directed by Anthony Hemingway, ‘Red Tails’ is set to shed light on the life of the historic Tuskegee Airmen. But don’t expect Jazmine Sullivan to to fit into Halle Berry’s shoes just yet. The singer says she’ll be using her vocal talent as a singer who entertains soldiers in the flick. “I’m really just entertainment for them, but I kind of get a little relationship going with one of them. So that’s very exciting.” In related news, Jazmine Sullivan will continue to tour this spring, ironically with Ne-Yo, and fellow Philadelphia native Musiq Soulchild.
