R&B/Gospel singer Heather Headley made a top 40 debut on the Billboard 200 this week. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Headley’s gospel effort “Audience Of One” arrived at no. 27, with 15,000 copies sold. “Audience of One,” featuring a collaboration with former “I Need You Now” singer Smokie Norful follows the ‘Notorious’ Soundtrack, which ended up being the week’s top debut. ‘Notorious,’ a disc that coincides with the much-anticipated film ‘Notorious,’ moved 43,000 copies which allowed it to debut at no.4. ‘Notorious’ includes several Hip Hop elite including Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Faith Evans and B.I.G.’s son, CJ Wallace. In other chart news, Kanye West’s “808s and Heartbreak” slid 3-5 with 40,000 copies sold, while Beyonce’s “I Am… Sasha Fierce” rose to no.2 with 49,000 copies moved.
