Hallelujah and X-Factor singer Alexandra Burke’s anticipated debut has reportedly hit a roadbump. Burke’s debut, originally rumored to have a May release date, has been moved to fall 2009 according to The Sun. “Syco were planning a quick release – possibly as early as March in time for Mother’s Day, but they have reconsidered and will now go for the autumn – probably November.””They want to wait to find the right songs and let her polish her skills, like they did with Leona. She can then launch it on a live X Factor show.” Sources close to Simon, who normally signs a few X-Factor finalists, say he only signed Alexandra because he wants to focus completely on her debut.”Simon is determined to make Alexandra a huge global star. Everyone thinks she has masses of potential.” “He wants the very best for her and doesn’t want any distractions,” a source told The Sun. In related X-Factor news, finalists JLS and Eoghan Quigg have signed deals with Epic and RCA Records respectively.JLS, who came close winning the competition, signed with Epic shortly after the show according to published reports. A spokesman for RCA confirmed “we have signed Eoghan Quigg. He is a huge talent an everyone is very excited to be working with him”. The 17-year old singer, who reportedly signed with RCA Thursday, said he was “over the moon” when asked about the deal.
