Lady O, as in Oprah, is not deserving of the pedestal American’s reportedly put her on according to ex-boyfriend turned author Randolph Cook. In Cook’s tell-all The Wizard of O: My Life With Oprah, Winfrey’s ex-lover says the media mogul maintained a cocaine habit during their secret love affair that began in 1984. Prior to their relationship, Oprah had confessed that she’d briefly used cocaine in the 1970s but blamed it on her desperate obsession with a man who was a drug user. According to Cook, Oprah used cocaine regular and was infact under the influence during show tapings. While Cook’s relationship with the daytime star ended after six months, the Chicago businessman says Oprah is responsible for his problems including the fact that he has esophageal cancer. According to an interview with the National Enquirer, Cook cites the fact that he has just two years to live as reason for putting the book out now. In case you’re wondering if this guy is legit, the Enquirer claims to have unearthed a secret 17-page document titled ‘Defendant Oprah Winfrey’s Answer to Plaintiff’s Amended Complaint At Law’ which says ‘defendant (Oprah) admits that she and Cook had sexual relations’.
