Beyonce has another inaugural gig according to the Presidential Inaugural Committee — this time she’ll be singing for Barack and Michelle Obama’s first dance. “It is our hope that we can keep the song secret,” says Linda Douglas, a spokeswoman for the committee that selected Beyonce for the president’s first dance on inauguration night. As previously reported, Beyonce had expressed her desire to be part of the inauguration in November, stating “Whatever they want — if they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I’m there, and I’m ready.” The question many people are asking is what song will she perform ? While “Single Ladies” is fun, it’s not necessarily ‘Presidential’. It is rumored that Beyonce will perform a cover of “At Last”.
