Jennifer Hudson is officially set for a comeback at one of 2009s biggest nights — the Superbowl ! According to E!, Jennifer Hudson will perform the National Anthem at the Superbowl in Tampa, Florida. Set for Feb. 1, Hudson will join Bruce Springstein and the E street band who are booked to perform during half time. “She certainly can nail it,” says a source close to the singer. In 2008, Hudson nailed the “Star Spangled Banner” at the Democratic National Convention, so it should be an easy feat for the “Spotlight” singer to pull off. Jennifer Hudson has not performed or made any public appearances since the tragic deaths of her mother, brother and nephew roughly two months ago.
