Beyonce celebrated Christmas atop the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart according to Nielsen SoundScan. Beginning its sixth week atop the R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” also nabbed a spot on the Hot 100 thanks to a reported 149,000 downloads in the United States. T.I. and Rihanna’s “Live Your Life” follows at no.2 accompanied by Lady GaGa’s “Just Dance” featuring Colby O’Donis. Kanye West’s “Heartless” became this week’s greatest airplay gainer as it moved from 7-4. Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” is also up 6-5, while Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” jumps 8-6 and Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” climbs 11-7. Kanye West’s other single “Love Lockdown” moved from 10-8, while T.I.’s “Whatever You Like” fell 5-9. Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy” fell 9-10 to round out the top 10. Leona Lewis was however, this week’s top debut. The former “Bleeding Love” singer’s “Run” debuted at no. 81 on the Hot 100 and No. 1 in the UK.
