The time is now for Ron Browz, Kal and 718, three burgeoning acts who are slated to appear at next week’s BMI ‘Know Them Now’ showcase. Set for Tuesday, Dec. 16, ‘Know Them Now’ will present all three burgeoning acts in a one night only showcase at New York’s ‘The Xchange’. Kicking off with a performance from Ron Browz, the Harlem-bred producer known for creating hits with Nas (‘Ether’), Ludacris and Snoop Dogg, ‘Know Them Now’ will also feature a performance from upcoming R&B singer Kal and R&B group 718. Kal, who has worked with Mya, Biz Markie and K Smith, will bring his unique style — fusing traditional African rhythms, hip-hop beats and R&B to the show while burgeoning R&B quartet 718 will rock the stage with their powerful vocal delivery.
