R&B singer Bobby Brown’s much-talked-about tell-all book has hit the bookstore and the net — however this time, the book is unauthorized ! According to Amazon.com, the book titled “The Truth, The Whole Truth And Nothing But..” has been released covering Brown’s infamous relationships with Whitney Houston and Karrine Steffans in addition to a reported confession of drug addictions, a near life threatening overdose and the real reason he left New Edition. However, Brown is no longer backing the book according to its author and former friend of the “Every Little Step” singer Derrick Handspike. According to Handspike, Brown backed out of the book deal earlier this year a media storm ensued when pages of the tell-all were released online and through several outlets. Speculating but not confirming Brown’s reason for backing out, the author told EURweb, “I started to wonder if Bobbyâs attorney and/or manager had been paid off by Whitneyâs people. After all, they were the ones making it difficult for us to reach an agreement. I then started to wonder if Bobby had been influenced by Whitney not to go through with it. Whitney has been known, is known and will always be known as having a major influence on him.” While some may consider Handspike’s release of the novel unjust, the author says “The call I made on moving on with the release of the book unauthorized was nothing personal, it was strictly business.” “Bobby Brown: The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But …” is available now through Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and Down South Books. In related news, the author, Derrick Handspike is reportedly penning another tell-all of sorts from Andre Rison. Rison’s book will reportedly detail his life with late-TLC member Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes !
