The “Circus” train is moving full speed ahead as Britney Spears is already breaking several records, all in time for the release of her highly anticipated comeback this Tuesday. Issuing a mixed reviewed performance of “Womanizer” on ‘X-Factor,’ American Idol producer Simon Cowell’s UK hit, Britney Spears walked away with her first record this week. According to ratings released over the weekend, Britney Spears ‘X-Factor’ appearance earned the show its highest ratings ever. Several sources have reported that 12.8 million viewers tuned into to see the singer rock the stage. According to Spears’ official website, 53 percent of the entire viewing audience tuned in to see Britney only. While ‘X-Factor’ producers are happy with Spears’ appearance, some fans are not as enthused. In a recent release from The Times, fans booed the singer for ‘miming’ throughout the performance. One viewer chimed in stating “It was terrible” while another said “All she can do is mime, and not very well”. Setting the record straight, Britney Spears: For The Record also aired on MTV last night. The highly anticipated talk-fest where Spears talks about everything from her love life to getting back in the studio, is expected to be another ratings blockbuster. While the actual ratings have not been revealed, several Spears fans chimed in on the singer’s official blog. “I’m amazed at her courage and strength to bring herself out of such a tough situation. The documentary was gritty, raw and showed Britney as she really is, human,” one fan wrote in while another was brought to tears. “I cried at times during the interview. She is a role model to so many because of her strength to overcome the issues she has gone through the past few years.” Britney Spears’ new album “Circus” hits stores an online retailers Tuesday.
