R&B group and BET stars Brutha are ready to prove that they’ve got what it takes to be the next big R&B male group ala B2K, New Edition, Jackson 5, and possibly Jodeci. Brutha took on Jodeci’s “Love U 4 Life” in their latest acapella video to give you a taste of their sound before their highly anticipated premiere (watch below). Set to debut on BET tonight, Brothers to Brutha follows the lives of the Harrell brothers as they attempt to find the balance between family and fame. Under pressure to be perfect at every turn, the lines between blood and business become blurred and the brothers are put to the test. Will this industry wound the family even more, or will it keep them brother to brother ? Find out tonight at 10:30pm ET only on BET. As previously reported on Singersroom, Brutha’s Def Jam debut is set for release Dec. 23 featuring Jazze Pha, the Corna Boyz, 112’s Daron Jones, and the Heavyweights. “We not only pride ourselves on our a cappella harmonies but thrive on the choreographed precision moves that take you back to the days when groups moved rather than just walked around the stage,” says Grady, the eldest Brutha. “Our sound is fresh and uplifting.
