TLC’s Rozanda ‘Chilli’ Thomas is reportedly tired of hearing about Destiny’s Child. That is in relation to the group being billed as the “Best Selling Female Group of All Time.” Speaking on that notion Chilli told Essence, “Everyone always credits Destiny’s Child as the biggest-selling female group, but it’s just not true.” In case you think Chilli is wrong she says “You can’t count album sales for each solo project collectively and come up with numbers. I love Destiny’s Child, but thank you.” During their peak years, mainly during “Crazy, Sexy, Cool,” TLC moved 45 million albums worldwide. The group’s CrazySexyCool (1994), is also noted at being the first diamond certified album by the RIAA for a female group. In comparison, Destiny’s Child, who called ‘technically’ called it quits in 2005, has sold, according to Nielsen, roughly 50 million albums worldwide, including the group’s last album “Destiny Fulfilled”
