It’s been yet again a busy week full of highs and lows for Queen Bey, according to reports issued Friday, Beyonce is ahead of Britney, Christina and Leona on the UK Charts. Noting the recent release of midweek sales figures, Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy” has outsold Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” which was released in the UK Monday. Christina Aguilera and Leona Lewis also released new songs Monday, the latter of the two, Lewis, released “Forgive Me” a song that American Idol producer Simon Cowell allegedly wants to hear from Beyonce. The X-Factor producer is reportedly fuming after learning that “Halo,” a track and possibly second single for Beyonce is being placed on “I Am…Sasha.” – – the reason is, Cowell’s X-Factor star Leona Lewis was supposed to get the track. Written by Ryan Tedder, “Halo” was to be placed on Leona Lewis’ new album due in 2009 however, Tedder, citing delays, gave the song to Beyonce’ instead. An insider at SonyBMG, Leona’s label, said “Leona’s diary is so rammed it didn’t look like she could record it until next year. Ryan didn’t want to hang around so he gave it to Beyonce.” Beyonce’s “I Am… Sasha Fierce” hits stores Nov. 18.
