Superstar Kelly Rowland, who is the ambassador of MTVâs staying Alive Foundation, will be in Abuja Nov. 22 to perform at the first ever MTV Africa Music Awards. South Africa’s, Cassette, and Nigeria’s, Asa will be joining Rowland on stage at The Velodrome, Abuja for MTV’s celebration of African music and artists. Rowland, Cassette and Asa will join previously announced performers The Game, D’Banj, Kwaw Kese and Professor J and other artists (still to be announced). The awards will be televised on MTV networks around the world a week later. Check out local listings for details.
