This election truly does represent change, a different mindset of America says R&B star Usher. Pausing to reflect on the days that have led up to today’s historic election and race between the Obama/Biden camp and McCain Palin ticket Usher says the youth turnout and engagement has been a highlight. “The youth is different, their voice, the way they utilize it is much different.” “Today’s youth have engaged at a new level, recognizing they have a voice and now they can use it.” Speaking about his recently released song entitled “Hush,” Usher says the current crisis’ in the United States and abroad inspired him to act instead of just talking about what’s going on. “‘Hush’ is about the circumstances we live in. Issues of STDs and AIDS. Issues of gas prices, war.. all things that need to be addressed..but most importantly that you need to use your voice to change it.” In related news, Usher kicked off his anticipated “One Night Stand” tour in Atlantic City, NJ this weekend. Usher’s ‘Ladies Only -or- ladies preferred as men are also welcome to attend…tour runs through December.
