With the recent release of his new single and video for “Cool,” Anthony Hamilton is hitting the road in anticipation of his forthcoming album “The Point Of It All.” Slated for release in December, “The Point of It All” features Hamilton’s single with David Banner entitled “Cool” which premiered recently (video below). Taking a lighter approach on this effort Hamilton says “I don’t always want to be known as the sad cat. I like to have a good time, too.” “I’ve taken fans to church and baptized them; there are those who say I’ve healed them with my music. Now we’re going to boogie in the name of the Lord.” Teaming up with familiar faces, Mark Batson (“Coming Where I’m From” and “Charlene”), James Poyser and Kelvin Wooten Hamilton says “They know what I’ve been doing but can see the growth I’m experiencing.” The “Cool” singer also teamed up with the Avila Brothers (Usher) and Jack Splash (John Legend, Alicia Keys).
