As the lyrics to “Single Ladies” say ‘if you liked it then you should’ve put a ring on it,’ Jay-Z must have taken a cue from Beyonce’ who flashes a ‘finger curl worthy’ ring in her new video for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).” Set in black-and-white, Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” features the singer and two dancers for much of a video that incorporates a strong ‘Sasha-like character’ after a break up. As evidenced in lyrics like “Now you wanna trip, cuz another brutha noticed me.
