Beyonce is busy unveiling a ton of new details this week, this time out the singer sheds light on her album title and the ladies that influenced her this time out. “It’s broad,” she told Essence when discussing the album. “But I had to try it, because I remember Aretha Franklin said a great singer can sing anything and make it her own.” Titled “I Am…,” Beyonce’s third studio album is due to arrive with much anticipation in just over a month. Giving way to the anticipation Beyonce unleashed two new singles Wednesday. Entitled “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),” which Queen-Bey says Jay-Z did in April, the two records could be found on several blogs and radio stations by early Wednesday afternoon. Speaking of ‘put a ring on it,’ a follow up to the hit single “Get Me Bodied” Beyonce reportedly told Essence that she and Jay-Z have the Roman numeral ‘4’ tattooed on their ring fingers to symbolize their vows so if they take off the bands for work or to go swimming, a mark of some form is still there. (The number four is special to the couple because her birthday is September 4, his birthday is December 4, and their wedding anniversary is April 4.) While the “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” star wouldn’t discuss how Hova proposed, or even if he proposed she did admit “We’ve been together a long time. We always knew it would happen.” Beyonce’s new album entitled “I Am..” will hit stores and online retailers Nov. 18.
