Seal is a British singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born in Paddington, London on 19 February 1963 as Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adelo Samuel. In 1987, Seal moved to Los Angeles where he sang with musicians such as Adamski and Herbie Hancock.

The following year he achieved international fame with the hit single ‘Kiss From A Rose’ which appeared on the soundtrack of Batman Forever movie. Since then, Seal has gone on to release eight more studio albums including Human Being (1998) and System (2007).
