Project Pat, born Patrick Houston in Memphis, Tennessee, is an American rapper and record producer. Pat grew up immersed in the Memphis rap scene of the late ’90s, where he was eventually discovered by Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J. In 1999, Project Pat released his debut album Ghetty Green under Hypnotize Minds/Loud records with guest appearances from Juicy J, La Chat, Gangsta Boo and Frayser Boy among others. His second album Mista Don’t Play: Everythangs Workin’, released two years later on Loud Records also featured production work from Juicy J and DJ Paul as well as cameos from Too Short, Master P and Eightball & MJG.
