Known for the hits “24/7” and “Heat of The Moment,” R&B singer/producer Kevon Edmonds is set to release the follow up to his Gold-certified debut next year. “I simply want to create a body of work that will take listeners on a musical journey; the style of music that will allow people to get in touch with their highs and lows and their joys and pain of living through song” says Edmonds who is also the younger brother of Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. Edmonds’ as-yet-untitled sophomore project becomes his first release under a new agreement with MAKE Entertainment/Image Distribution. Working with some of today’s hottest producers/songwriters including Greg Curtis, Kadis & Sean, DamienDuke, Jason Edmonds of “The Order,” Dave Edmonds aka “NuDae” and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, the former After 7 singer says “I am hoping to bridge the gap between good old R&B and R&B of today.” Edmonds’ sophomore solo CD is slated for release in March 2009.
