Fresh off of a new deal with Hidden Beach Recordings, Tony Rich has set a date for the release of âEXIST,â his long awaited follow up to 2006’s âPictures.â Since his acclaimed 1996 debut with âWords,â Rich has experienced the trials and tribulations of an artist wanting to get his music out to the world. âThere first must be a test before you can have a testimony,â affirms Rich. âIâve had some ups and downs but my desire and ability to create art has always been my gift. It feels good to finally find a home at Hidden Beach . They have really supported my vision and will allow me to continue to share the unique sound of my musical contributions.â Tony Richâs fifth album, EXIST is now set for release on September 16th. The first single âPart the Wavesâ is a rhythmic soliloquy reflecting the before and after of first meeting then being with that special someone. In support of the forthcoming album, Rich kicked off a 12-city promotional tour earlier this week. The tour which features stops in Nashville, Houston and Atlanta is slated to run through August 1st.
