Sharing the spotlight with her now 6-year-old daughter Syârai, Brandy has teamed up with footwear retailer Skechers for the âNothing Compares to Familyâ ad campaign. Slated to run through 2009, the campaign features some of today’s popular celebrity families while also benefitting family-related charities selected by the celebrities. “It’s great to be part of Skechers’ campaign, which promotes and benefits families and children,” says Brandy who will be featured in numerous editorial ads through 2009. The âListâ singer who is set to release her fifth studio album later this year, will support The Norwood Foundation, which provides cultural enrichment to at risk youth. Jack Coleman of NBCâs hit sci-fi thriller, âHeroes,â also appears in the campaign with his 8-year-old daughter Tess. At the heart of the campaign is Skechers’ commitment to family. Each ad will be tagged with a family-related charity of the celebrity’s choice. Jack Coleman’s charity, Elevate Hope Foundation (EHF), is dedicated to providing abused and abandoned children an alternative method of therapy through music and the arts. Skechers has also donated to Tori Spelling’s requested charity, K.I.D.S, which distributes new clothes, shoes, toys and baby furniture to needy children. “We’re thrilled to help draw attention to charities that are relevant to our consumers,” said Michael Greenberg, Skechers’ president.
