R&B singer Ne-Yo celebrated the launch of his new lounge in West London yesterday. The Year of the Gentleman singer whose album hits stores August 5th, snatched up the popular UK 142 Bar & Lounge recently, celebrating the launch with many celebrity friends in tow. The lounge which is connected to a hotel, is a popular spot for the mature crowd in West London with a history of supporting R&B acts. Bobby Valentino and Ginuwine are among those who have performed at the venue in recent years. Solange Knowles was out and about promoting her new album âSoL-Angel & the Hadley Street Dreamsâdue August 26th this weekend. The young Knowles took the stage with Ne-Yo at VH1’s Summer of Soul for the Save the Music foundation on Friday. Tamia who is rumored to be releasing a live album later this year was also spotted at the event with NBA star/Husband Grant Hill. In related news, Ne-Yo issued the second single from his âYear of the Gentlemanâalbum entitled âMiss Independentâ this week.
