R&B singer and recent âDancing With The Starsâ alum Mario has kicked off a summer tour in conjunction with Six Flags and DanceDanceRevolution slated to run through July. Marioâs new tour, part of Six FlagsâSummer Concert series includes performances at over three Six Flags parks including a performance this Thursday, June 19th at Six Flags Over Georgia. Additional concerts will performed at Six Flags Magic Mountain near Los Angles, CA — July 6th and Six Flagsâ Great America & Hurricane Harbor in Chicago – July 20th. Colby Adonis is slated to open for Mario on all dates where the cost of admission is included with the actual theme park pass. In related news, Mario who aired his recent film documentary âI Wonât Love You to Deathâ on MTV will visit local Boys & Girls clubs across the country in conjunction with his tour. âI felt like my story and who I am as an artist would be an inspiration for a lot of kids who may have experienced the same thing,â says Mario. According to Billboard, the Grammy Award-nominated singer will also use the trek which wraps up July 20th at Six Flags in Chicago, to help spread the word about his recently launched Mario Do Right Foundation, which is designed to educate and inspire at risk kids who are affected by drug use. Marioâs main goal with the foundation is to âreally impact the kids by giving them tools and educating them about drugs and how to be proactive when dealing with the pressures of using drugs,â he explains. During his visit to Boys & Girls Club organizations, âWeâll be doing press conferences about the foundation and holding sessions with kids to have conversations about these issues,â Mario says. âThis is something I am personally invested in.â Tour Dates: (subject to change) June 19th – Six Flags of Georgia feat.
