The songstress whose album âThe Declarationâ hits stores this week is slated to launch a virtual community titled âI Declare Meâ Tuesday, June 3rd. âI Declare Me..â places focus on the self-definition and empowerment of women across the United States. With its home base on Ashantiâs official website participants will be able to openly declare their own breakthroughs, revelations, struggles and victories in every life area they choose, whether it be career, birth, death, relationships or personal situations. âI Declare Meâ¦â also invites women to a virtual discussion with Ashanti on such issues as voter registration, teen obesity, and other concerns facing women today. In addition to the release of the âI Declare Me..â community, Ashanti is keeps busy this week with a line up of appearances including a stop by BETâs 106 & Park on Monday, June 2nd , MTVâs Total Request Live (TRL) on Tuesday, June 3rd, and as previously announced on Singersroom a performance Live from Bryant Park in New York for ABCâs Good Morning America Summer Concert Series. The Declaration, the songbirdâs fourth album features album producers and collaborators Robin Thicke, Jermaine Dupri, Babyface, L.T. Hutton, and Pharrell Williams.
