As temperatures begin to rise, artists are taking to the road for the 2008 summer touring season. Rolling Stone issued itâs Summer Tour Guide this week featuring over 30 of this summers most anticipated shows. Kanye Westâs âGlow In The Darkâ tour and Gnarls Barkleyâs upcoming tour made the cut which also lists Coldplay, Bruce Springstein and Radiohead as highly anticipated tours. Although little is know about the Gnarls Barley tour, group member Cee-Lo says “It’s changing more and more every day, we usually try something to amuse ourselves.â The soul crewâs trek is slated to kick off in July with a stop at Chicagoâs Lollapalooza in August where the group joins Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco. As for Westâs tour featuring Rihanna and Lupe Fiasco, Rolling Stone says â There’s an elaborate theme (West plays an intergalactic traveler lost in space); a career-spanning, hit-studded set; and a high-tech light show that rivals Daft Punk’s. The magazine caught up with Lupe Fiasco recently who says “Kanye’s act is ridiculous, Everybody is super talented, You got the coolest people in the game all together.” Kanye Westâs âGlow In the DarkâTour wraps up June 13th in Cincinnati, Ohio.
