Rihanna finally speaks out in this monthâs issue of Elle Magazine regarding her relationships with Chris Brown and Jay Z. The âGood Girl Gone Badâ singer who appears on the cover of Elle sporting a smirk in Donna Karan original has been mum for sometime now about her rumored relationships with the R&B phenom and Hip Hop mogul. Rihanna says âWeâve always been friends, but weâre very close nowâ referring to her rumored romance with R&B singer Chris Brown. This seems to be a fact as the two have been spotted together at a number of Kanye Westâs Glow In the Dark Tour dates where Rihanna is part of the line up including a stop in St. Petersburg, Florida this week. The couple was also spotted leaving Brownâs 19th birthday party this week where a photographer was allegedly roughed up by Brownâs bodyguards for snapping a photo of the couple. Brown, who was recently reported on Singersroom, covers Ebony this month; calls Rihanna a friend but also states âI try to stay away from even having a girl. I go on dates, talk to a couple chicks on the phone.â According to Elle, the âUmbrellaâ singer does not comment any further on her relationship with Brown but addresses the often asked âJay Z questionâ where she responded âItâs crazy that you ask me that. People know that itâs not trueââ referring to rumors that the two were previously involved. Surprised by the mogulâs recent marriage to Beyonce last month she goes on to say âI think itâs a kinda clicheâ question, and people know itâs not true, so I donât even know why itâs still addressed to this day.
