Sean Levert, who suddenly passed Sunday night, has left family members to cope with the lost of another LeVert. As Singersroom recently reported, Sean Levert, the brother of the late Gerald Levert, was pronounced dead just after arriving at Lutheran Hospital late Sunday. Warden Kevin McDonough said he had been sick, acting strangely and hallucinating before he collapsed in his cell. A cause of death has yet to be determined. A statement released by the Levert Family says: âThere are no words that can express what we are feeling today. There is no song that can capture the loss that we have in our hearts. But we are humbly overwhelmed by the generous outpouring of love, condolences and support from the many friends, fans and admirers of our son Sean. At this very difficult time, we thank you for your prayers and hope you will understand our need for privacy.â In 2006, Sean’s older brother Gerald Levert died suddenly at age 40 of an accidental mix of prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Sean, like Gerald, reportedly suffered from high blood pressure. Funeral arrangements have not been determined at this time, the family said in its statement Monday.
