R&B singer Mariah Careyâs first single will be “Touch My Body,” and it is scheduled to impact radio on Feb 12th, according to the newly-updated New Releases list from All Access. The song is headed to Top 40/Mainstream and Top 40/Rhythmic-Crossover radio stations. “Touch My Body” was first revealed on MariahDailyJournal as a new title from Mariah’s upcoming album. It was later confirmed that in a Universal Music office meeting, L.A. Reid had asked staff members to vote for their favorite song between his first single choice – “That Chick” and “Touch My Body”. Apparently, “Touch My Body” was Mariah’s choice for the first single. Although All Access gets its data directly from the record labels, please consider the date and title tentative until an official announcement is made. “That Chick” will be the new studio album from Mariah Carey, the follow up to her multi-platinum selling âThe Emancipation of Mimiâ. Producers such as Jermaine Dupri, Will.i.am, DJ Toomp and T.I. are said to have worked on the new disc. R&B singer T-pain will be featured on “Migrate” and Damian Marley on “Cruise Control.”
