R&B star Jennifer Lopez is planning to file a lawsuit against her former fashion label partner Andy Hilfiger, who was the CEO of her failed clothing line Sweetface, reports the NY Daily News. “It is expected that she will file suit and that he will countersue,” says a source close to one of the parties. “They’re likely to sue each other.” The two parted ways after the Sweetface line failed to take off. It has been rumored that the reason for the split was the hands-on approach of Lopezâs husband, Marc Anthony. His involvement in Lopez’s business dealings reportedly cramped Hilfiger, who eventually returned to his former job working for his designer brother, Tommy Hilfiger. Lopez has sold over 53 million records worldwide. She made the 2007 Forbes magazine’s list of The 20 Richest Women In Entertainment, ranking ninth. Her wealth is estimated to be $110 million.
