Hip Hop star Bow Wow was rushed to hospital on Thursday (06Dec07) night after a concert in Cincinnati, Ohio. The 20-year-old star was suffering from “a combination of exhaustion and stress”, but is expected to make a full recovery. According to TMZ, despite Bow Wow’s stint in the hospital for stress and exhaustion, Sony Music also stated the show will go on, “They also said that although his tour with Chris Brown, Sean Kingston and Soulja Boy is heading to Chicago tonight, Bow Wow won’t be on stage.” The concert on Thursday night, the first show of a 22-date tour, featured a star-studded ensemble that includes Sean Kingston, Shop Boyz, Lil’ Mama, Soulja Boy, Chris Brown, and the recently hospitalized Bow Wow, who won’t be on hand for Friday night’s show. A representative for Bow Wow’s record label Sony has promised disappointed fans the rapper “will be sure to come back to Chicago soon.” Bow Wow (real name Shad Gregory Moss), a native of Akron, Ohio, burst onto the music scene as Lil Bow Wow after working with the likes of legendary rap producer Dr. Dre and Jermaine Dupri. Since his discovery, Bow Wow has released five albums that included Beware of the Dog, Doggy Bag, Unleashed, Wanted, and The Price of Fame. Bow Wow has worked with some of the rap and hip-hop world’s biggests names, including Snoop Dogg, J-Kwon, Ciara, Chris Brown, R. Kelly, Omarion, and the recently deceased Pimp C.
