A Milwaukee based law firm has offered a reward for anyone with information in the unsolved murder of R&B singer Yolanda âLaLaâ Brown. The shootings happened at a recording studio near 55th and Lisbon. Milwaukee police are following leads, but have made no arrests. Thatâs why a local law firm is stepping in. Yolanda âLaLaâ Brown had a promising future in music. Many people were touched by her music video and were outraged someone would gun down this beautiful young woman and her producer boyfriend JeTannue Clayborne. âWe are just sickened by someone so young and talented being murdered in cold blood and just felt compelled to do something,â Jason Abraham of Hupy and Abraham said. The law firm of Hupy and Abraham and Associates are offering a $2,500 reward for someone to come forward with information that leads to a conviction in the case. âWeâre really, really disappointed we have to be here today. We donât understand why people in this community canât just give information. We know people know things,â Jason Abraham said. Itâs been more than two weeks since the crime, but the family said the pain is so great, it feels like yesterday and they are desperate for answers. âI would just like to say we are so thankful that they were considerate enough to our family to do something like this,â Alicia Brown, LaLaâs sister said. Hupy and Abraham said they were touched by the story of LaLa and want justice to be served. âI think the whole world fell in love with her,â Jason Abraham said.
