R&B singer Akon signs Glowb, a male group, to Konvict Records in addition to his current roster of T-Pain and Brick & Lace. Glowb brings together Ray, Renny, Edge and Noura, a unique batch of members from around the world. Ray and Renny hail from the sunny island of St. Marten in the Caribbean. Edge is of Dutch origin and Noura was born in Morocco. Early in 2006 at Akonâs concert in Amsterdam a previous business associate of Konvict Muzik Group requested backstage access and introduced Glowb to Akon and partner Melvin Brown. Glowb is currently on tour in Europe and Asia and have released their new single âDamn That Girl.â
