R&B Singer Whitney Houston’s divorce from husband Bobby Brown is officially final today (April 24.), a California judge has ruled. The divorce, listed as “uncontested,” calls for neither party to receive spousal support. Also, the property division is listed as “no community property.” As Singersroom previously reported (Whitney Houston Awarded Custody Of Child), Houston will have sole physical and legal custody of their 14-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina, while Brown has been granted a “reasonable right of visitation.” The couple was married in 1992, and July would have marked their 15th anniversary. In other Whitney news, gossip columnist Janet Charlton reported Monday that creative differences between Whitney Houston and her producer/mentor Clive Davis are threatening to hold up the scheduled June release of her anticipated comeback album. Charlton wrote on her website: “She and her producer Clive Davis are clashing- he wants one thing and she wants another. Whitney wants to stick to her successful old formula and use her own people on the album while Clive has new ideas. He wants new people like Christina Aguilera to collaborate with Whitney. Whitney seems to think she doesn’t need any new people while Clive insists they change with the times.” “Whitney’s pal Ray J has a song he recorded with Whitney that he’s dying to release on his album, but Clive’s label, J Records, isn’t cooperating. Whitney’s a handful, but Clive knows she’s worth it.”
