Despite the terrible weather we’ve been having, Spring is right around the corner. Do you know what that means? Time to update your look! Spring/Summer 2007 runway shows all depicted a universal theme simplicity and ease of wear. Neutral, black, and white hues made appearances all over the runways. However, since we were all born to *shine*, what’s a better way to spice up a bland outfit than with a bright colored shoe? Hot pink, green, orange, turquoise, yellow, red, and all the shades in between are just begging to be worn with a plain white tee. With so many options âflats, pumps, sandals, and even a pair of uptowns â go ahead and let your feet, along with yourself, shine this season.
Do – Pair bright colored shoes with white on white or black on black.
Do – Dress bright colored shoes up with a summery dress or down with a pair of skinny jeans or leggings.
Do – Allow your boyfriend/friend/brother to rock a bright colored sneaker as long as he keeps the rest of the outfit simple.
Do – Wear bright colored pumps with a bright smile. =) You’ll look fabulous!
Don’t – Overdose on color. There’s no need to look like the rainbow, keep your outfit simple so your shoe can really stand out.
Don’t – Be afraid to experiment with bold shoe colors.
