Capitol Music Group will release award-winning U.K. singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae’s first long-form DVD, Live In London & New York, on April 3rd. The DVD includes Bailey Rae’s Live At St. Luke’s performance, which was shot in London for the BBC, and four promotional videos plus a bonus CD capturing her sold-out performance at New York’s Webster Hall last fall. Earlier this week, Bailey Rae’s video for “Trouble Sleeping” was given a world premiere on VH1 Soul, VH1.com and VH1Soul.com; it is currently in a “Soul Spotlight” rotation. The video for “Trouble Sleeping” is included on Bailey Rae’s upcoming DVD as are the videos for “Put Your Records On” and “Like A Star,” the first two singles from her self-titled debut album, which has sold three million copies worldwide and is certified Platinum in the U.S. Bailey Rae’s performance on “Live From Abbey Road” will air August 30th at 10 p.m. on the Sundance Channel. (Paul Simon and Primal Scream will be the evening’s other guest artists). She recently won the award for “Outstanding New Artist” at the NAACP Image Awards. Bailey Rae has been honored with a Q award, a MOJO award and two MOBO awards and she received three Grammy nominations. Fresh off tours of Europe and the U.K., Bailey Rae will open for John Legend on his spring North American tour, which commences April 3rd in Irvine, CA. Thereafter she’ll return to the U.K., where she’ll play the Glastonbury Festival (June 24th), Live Earth (July 7th) and V Festival (August 18th & 19th).
