R&B singer Janet Jackson will join soul songstress Jill Scott and actress Sharon Leal in Tyler Perryâs latest film, Why Did I Get Married?, which will shoot scenes in Vancouver, Whistler and Atlanta. The movie is an adaptation of Perryâs stage play about a couple that goes away every winter with friends to examine their marriages. When one of the wives brings along a sexy young woman, trouble ensues. Production begins March 5. Perryâs previous films include Madeaâs Family Reunion and Diary of a Mad Black Woman. Jackson, 40, has appeared in Poetic Justice and The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps. Her acting career began on the sitcoms Good Times and Diffârent Strokes
