After being the most dominant song at the end of last year, Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” begins 2007 at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, continuing a 5 week run. The track is also No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a sixth week but is dethroned on the Pop 100 by Fergie’s “Fergalicious,” which according to billboards, sets a new record by selling 295,000 digital copies. Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Akon’s “Smack That” featuring Eminem climbs 4-3, but his “I Wanna Love You” featuring Snoop Dogg drops 2-4. Justin Timberlake’s “My Love” featuring T.I. drops 5-6, Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right,” slides 6-10. Jennifer Hudson’s “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from the “Dreamgirls” soundtrack hops in at No. 98.
