According to MSNBC News, the son of music legend Lou Rawls is suing the son of Motown legend Marvin Gaye, claiming he was attacked by âfour large dogsâ during a visit to Gayeâs Hollywood home in 2005. The complaint by Lou Rawls Jr. against Marvin Gaye III was filed last week in Los Angeles Superior Court. Rawls claims the dogs âbit, clawed and physically and mentally injuredâ him, causing him to suffer âloss of blood, tearing of flesh, multiple dog bite wounds, fear of diseaseâ and other injuries, according to court documents. He is seeking unspecified damages. âI have no comment at this time,â Rawlsâ attorney, Alexander J. Petale, said Tuesday. A phone number for Gaye couldnât be obtained, and a court spokeswoman said no lawyer had yet been named for him. Marvin Gaye III is the adopted son of Marvin and his first wife Anna Gaye. He was born in 1965. Lou Jr is one of Lou Rawls four children. Lou had three children with his first wife Lana including Lou Jr’s two sisters Louanna and Kendra.
